    Adelaide Care Home in Bexleyheath is an established and popular home, situated close to Bexleyheath town centre, just off the Broadway. At our home, we warmly welcome couples or companions who want to continue their care journey together. A variety of different care options are available including; residential, nursing, respite and dementia care. Our long-serving, experienced care team understand the value of giving round-the-clock care whilst also offering companionship and fun, and also continuous support to relatives of the residents. We aim to make settling in a new environment as smooth as possible.

    Residents are encouraged to bring their own mementoes and keepsakes to their fully furnished and spacious bedrooms, this can help with settling in for new residents. Communal spaces within our Bexleyheath care home are well-thought-out, excellent for group activities, dining, and for moments of quiet time. We aim to cater for all at our care home in Bexleyheath, taking into consideration each individual residents’ needs and requirements, it is, after all, their home, and we want it to feel like exactly that.

    At Adelaide, we do our best to keep our resident’s minds and bodies occupied and alert. For instance, we embark on activities such as:

    • Trips to local stately homes and gardens
    • Bingo, quizzes and painting
    • Shopping trips to Bexleyheath shopping centre
    • Football – passing skills and scoring goals!
    • Our very popular one-to-one reminiscence and activities sessions
    • Beauty treatments such as manicures
    • Charity fundraising activities

    Our full-time activity coordinator always finds stimulating things for our residents to take part in and interesting places to visit. The home has its own minibus, enabling our Bexleyheath care home residents to explore the local area, as well as venturing slightly further afield on occasion. Our Facebook page is kept up to date with photographs of our recent outings.

    Home Manager

    I’m Shiella, the Home Manager at Adelaide Care Home. I joined the Avery Healthcare family in 2016, bringing over 20 years of experience in both residential and nursing care. Over the years, I have gained invaluable skills through qualifications, such as my Higher Diploma in Nursing and a Diploma in Leadership. Adelaide Care Home is a wonderful place, and I’m proud to work alongside such a dedicated team. Outside of work, I love to travel, visit historic places, and meet new people. I would love to welcome you to Adelaide Care Home, where our beautifully landscaped gardens and community atmosphere make it feel like you’re at home.
