Avery Healthcare provides residential, dementia and nursing care homes, with a focus on the highest possible standards of living for our residents and peace of mind for family and friends.

Residential Care

Also referred to as Personal Care and Assisted Living, this service is for older people (65 and above) who require support with the activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, medication supervision,  cooking, cleaning and mobility. Read more about residential care.

Dementia Care

Most of our homes have a specialised service for people living with dementia. We call them our ReConnect Communities. For those living with dementia, the Connect Programme is designed to focus on a person’s key strengths, helping residents live active and fulfilling lives. Read more about dementia care.

Nursing Care

This service is for older people (65 and above) with more complex healthcare needs which cannot be provided at home and requires the supervision of fully qualified nurses, such as frequent complex medication regimes and complex wound care. Read more about nursing care.

Dementia Nursing Care

Some of the Avery homes work with local Primary Care Services to provide care for residents who are living with more complex dementia needs. Read more about dementia nursing care.

Respite & Convalescence Care

Respite care is a service for people who wish to stay with us on a short term basis.  This can be for people who need a little extra support whilst recovering from an illness or operation and can be for one week or a few months. Read more about respite care.
