We say a Big Hello to new Manager Jane McAuley!
Astbury Manor Care Home in Bracknell are delighted to welcome highly experienced Care Home Manager, Jane McAuley, to their lovely home! Qualifying as a nurse at just 17, Jane brings a wealth of experience from the care sector in a variety of services and because she is dual registered for both learning disabilities and general practice.
Jane comments: “I was drawn by the commitment Avery has to providing high-quality, person-centred care, which is something that is so easily lost. I look forward to supporting the team at Astbury Manor and working together with our local community to establish some new friendships and experiences for our residents.”
Current manager, Juliet Gallop, is moving on to a new role within Avery to become Home Manager for a new service opening this Summer, Edenbridge Manor in Edenbridge, Kent. She said: “My time at Astbury Manor has been filled with some great memories, with equally great people, who I will be sad to say goodbye to. Over the last few years since the home opened, we have achieved a double Gold CAP award for housekeeping and catering, as well as a Care Quality Commission rating of Good In All Categories, which was another great accomplishment. Jane has a wealth of experience in the care industry and I know she will fit in really well with the team here.”
We wish Juliet all the best as she commissions and launches Edenbridge Manor, and look forward to Jane taking over and continuing the great teamwork here!
