With over 20 years of experience in the care sector, I originally transitioned from careers in banking and teaching. I started as a Senior Support Worker and became a Registered Manager within two years, eventually managing various homes. After being promoted to Regional Manager for the South, I spent 19 years with the same company before moving into domiciliary care as an Operations Manager. While this role offered new insights into the industry, I missed the home environment and interaction with residents and families.
Now, as General Manager at Southampton Manor Care Home, I’m proud to lead a skilled and compassionate team. We work hard to ensure our residents feel valued, safe, and cared for in a warm, welcoming environment. I believe creating a positive atmosphere benefits both our residents and staff.
