Originally from Cheshire, I started my career as a General Nurse at Manchester Royal Infirmary, specialising in neurosciences, before spending 21 years in medical assessment at Wythenshawe. In 2001, I moved to Stoke-on-Trent and became a Registered Manager at a specialist dementia nursing home while completing a master’s degree in dementia studies at Bradford University. I later became the UK Head of Dementia Care for Sunrise and joined Majesticare in 2018. Since 2020,I’ve been the Registered Manager at Clayton Manor Care Home, part of Avery Healthcare, where I am dedicated to upholding high standards, transparency, and equality for both residents and staff. I feel privileged to work in this rewarding role with Avery Healthcare.
