Our lovely Birchmere Mews Care Home in Solihull has been lovingly re-fitted to ensure our residents are comfortable and secure here. Alongside our residential care, Birchmere Mews Care Home is also renowned for offering some of the best dementia care in Solihull. We have dedicated bedrooms for our residents living with dementia, with rooms fitted with en-suite wet rooms and three-quarter sized beds for comfort and ease. We are proud to be situated in a stunning location, with picturesque views of Copt Heath golf course that adjoins our Knowle site just off the A4141 Warwick Road.
Many of the new bedrooms at Birchmere Mews are designed for couples, including private lounge areas where they can spend some meaningful alone time over a mid-morning coffee and newspaper. Couples and companions are warmly welcomed in our home where their well-being, comfort, and happiness are our top priority. Other rooms at our care home in Solihull have equipped kitchenettes, with a small fridge and sink, just in case you fancy inviting over one of the other residents for a natter and glass of wine.
Birchmere Mews is situated opposite its sister home Birchmere House with which it shares a free car park and minibus. Residents from both of our Solihull care homes enjoy excursions together visiting sites of interest all across the West Midlands. In fact, close links are a key feature of these equally sized and perfectly formed care homes! Elder care communities operate best when they are of the size of our two neighbourly homes…and building thriving communities is what we are all about. No one gets overlooked, everyone knows each other and yet there is plenty of private space too, should you wish to retreat (and let’s face it, we all need that from time to time).
Comfort and care you can trust in at Birchmere Mews Care Home in Solihull, these are very important facets of any care home and with us, it’s guaranteed. Being part of the nationally acclaimed care operator Avery Healthcare, means we have a reputation for delivering exemplary care standards, so you know you are in safe hands.
But what sets our residential homes apart is what we build on the inside of the home, its atmosphere, the companionship of staff and residents and homely support that are part parcel of daily life – and Birchmere Mews is no different. Our communities are vibrant places where each and every one of our residents finds their place and above all contribute to something that is quite hard to pin down, but which is palpable when you visit.

Chef also ensures that no activities take part without a good smattering of cakes and biscuits, don’t worry, though, we always have chair-based exercises available for residents! The friendly Home Manager will often take time out of her day to host a 1-2-1 meal with residents, which involves lots of nattering!
