Quality Weston-super-Mare Care Home Offering Fun and Companionship
Situated on Milton Road, overlooking Ashcombe Park, Acer House is one of the very finest Weston-super-Mare care homes. As a residential, and dementia care home in Weston-super-Mare, we draw the majority of our residents from the North Somerset and Bristol areas. Acer House Weston-super-Mare is home to a happy community of residents who thrive on the care and companionship we provide. Our focus is always on improving the quality of living for our residents with an emphasis on the role that they, along with their families, can make in shaping home life. We offer a shared care experience with our companion suites, designed for couples, siblings, or friends seeking a caring and supportive environment together.
Our beautifully appointed residence is one of the newest Weston-super-Mare care homes and is furnished to a high standard. Our spacious bedrooms contain en-suite walk-in showers as well as flat-screen TVs and DVD players. In addition to quality single rooms, we also have suites so that couples can use one room as a private lounge area. Downstairs rooms open out onto our front and rear gardens, which are quiet and secluded.

Seaside Residential Care Home in Weston-super-Mare
There can’t be many residential homes that have their own beach hut, but we do and it’s right on the sea front so very easy to get to. Soaking up the sea air and breeze is just one of many activities you can choose to get involved in though. Our lovely gardens, full of sweet peas, lupins and foxgloves suit the green-fingered, while inside there are plenty of singalongs, team games, quizzes and entertainment. There really is something for everyone. We take pride in going that extra mile: we even managed to arrange a trip on a Harley Davison for one of our ladies who wanted to revisit her youth one more time.
We welcome many local groups, schools and societies into our retirement home and enjoy the support of the wider North Somerset community. Our Weston-super-Mare care home is situated about a mile from town and the seafront, meaning that excursions to the promenade, the beach or town centre are easy. Often we will meet up with residents at our sister home, Poets Mews in Clevedon to enjoy the company of some new people. We also take trips to local heritage sites and occasionally invite expert speakers to visit from local museums and societies.

Fresh Air and Fresh Food
Our light and airy dining room opens out on to the rear gardens of Acer House, so we almost feel that we are dining al fresco. Coming together to eat is often the highlight of the day and our kitchen team knows how important it is to provide tempting and nourishing food. Naturally, we can cater for any special dietary requirements. The menu at Acer House is varied, changing with the seasons and always consists of fresh, local Somerset-sourced ingredients. And our themed nights have proven to be a culinary hit too!
Aside from three set meals a day, and the wine and other drinks on offer with them, our chef is always turning out wonderful freshly baked treats and snacks for our residents to enjoy. Birthday cakes are a particular speciality! If you would like to come and taste what’s on offer you’re welcome to visit our care home in Weston-super-Mare where our Home Manager will be delighted to arrange some delicious samples.
