Opened in May 2019, Avon Valley is our brand-new residential care home in Bristol.
Both Avon Valley Care Home and Avonmere Care Home offer excellent residential care. Our teams of professionally trained care staff are on hand to provide the support our residents need, whenever they need it – 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The level of support offered can range from help with managing medication to assistance with getting dressed.
We pride ourselves on having created a ‘home-from-home’ environment across our many care home locations. Life doesn’t stop being exciting at our Bristol care homes. With greenhouses and potting sheds for those who dabble in horticulture, cafés and dining rooms for those who love food, and comfortable lounges for those who enjoy a chinwag, there’s always plenty for you or your loved one to get involved in.
We offer dementia care in both of our Bristol care homes. Through our dedication to high-quality care, we’re able to understand our residents and the lives they’ve lived. This gives us a better understanding of their specific needs and helps to create a person-centred care plan.
Our approach is compassionate and designed to help those affected by dementia, live comfortably. This is reflected across all elements of our dementia care homes in Bristol, including the food served by our chefs. The culinary team has developed meals that are every bit as delicious as our regular menu options, they’ve just been adapted for cutlery-free eating – to bring joy to dining.
