The Cedars Nursing Care Home Salisbury Wiltshire

The Cedars is located to the south of Salisbury in delightful rural surroundings of Landford, yet is conveniently located on the A36 trunk road. The Cedars is a quiet haven with spacious open rural views.

This quality nursing care home has an interesting history dating back to the 1880's and is a handsome country house in 4.5 acres of parkland and is now part of the New Forest National Park. The home was formerly part of a larger estate and was owned more recently by the family of the famous conductor Sir Adrian Boult.

A purpose built extension was added in July 2008 and offers en suite showers and toilet facilities in every room. Like the older house, it offers hotel standard accomodation and services.

The home also provides care services for those with dementia care needs.

The new entrance and reception was completed in early December 2008 providing new administration offices. The refurbishment of the existing historic building is now complete and there are some very spacious suites available for those who want independence with the benefit of care and hotel services available at the press of a button.
