Care Home Life

Open and airy lounges are the social hub of the care home, offering a place to socialise or join in the activities offered by our team of Activity Coordinators. For those who would like to read in a quiet spot, our comfortable library, with its large doors open to the patio garden, offers the perfect environment. The private courtyard at Brampton View provides a warm area for tea and cakes in the fresh air.

Active and Independent Living

The care home's dedicated Recreation and Leisure Coordinators ensure a varied and stimulating schedule of activities and entertainment are available to residents.

We take trips out for pub lunches and shopping, as well as excursions to local places of interest, such as the nearby heritage railway, where we enjoy rides on the old steam trains and before joining in with the afternoon cream teas. We also regularly visit the Althorp Estate to take in the gardens and lake, which is especially useful for our gardening club who like to pick up a few ideas!

Residents are, of course, welcome to come and go as they please, and many enjoy visiting the local Northampton County and Brampton Heath golf clubs for a few holes of golf.

Dining at Brampton View Care Home

Our chef at Brampton View lavishes care and attention on every meal, using fresh, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients in each and every dish. Our kitchen has a great relationship with local farmers and butchers, so we offer only the best to our residents.

The chef takes on all feedback to the food, making changes, tweaks, or whipping up nostalgic dishes when requested. Our meals are nutritionally balanced and healthy, and any dietary requirements can be catered for - just let us know!

Our variety of traditional fare is complimented by the addition of exotic dishes and new twists on old favourites. The kitchen is also always turning out fresh surprises and treats for the residents.

Specialist Dementia Care Northampton

This home's leading edge Connect programme is designed to encourage independent and engaged lives for our residents living with dementia. The programme helps build solid relationships between carers and residents, as well as residents and their families, and encourages independence and a sense of ownership over the home.

Welcoming Community of Care

We have a great relationship with other care homes in the Northamptonshire area, such as Cliftonville - which we shared a large Christmas party between the two homes with a DJ, festive quiz and a big Christmas dinner with all the trimmings!

Residents’ families can be assured that with our ARIES programme they will have an additional, formal way of giving us structured feedback on the way we run our home - from dining arrangements and outing choices to wider decisions relating to care.

We also provide free Wi-Fi and computers throughout the home, which is perfect for keeping in touch with friends, family and relatives wherever they are in the world. Naturally, staff are on hand to help residents who aren't as familiar with the technology.

Visit Us

Located on the outskirts of Northampton, we're within easy reach of the A14 and M1. If you'd like to arrange a visit, or just want to ask some question, please call our care home manager Andrea Feeney on 01604 553055 or contact her online here. Alternatively, visitors are always welcome so feel free to pop in any time.
