Our acclaimed resident’s well-being programme is designed to keep all of us engaged and active. There is something for everyone at Bourn View Care Home in Birmingham, we believe that playing an active role in our local Bournville community is critical to the health of our community. Many of our residents enjoy strong affiliations with local groups and we are only too happy to support and nurture these connections.
Read moreEncouraged by our well-being coordinators, our residents like to play a full part in the life of Bourn View Care Home in Birmingham. They proved keen to enter the ‘Avery in Bloom’ competition this year, had a trip out to the garden centre to buy plants and have high hopes that their green fingered expertise will be met with recognition. Dressing up forms part of our weekly activities with so many World/National Day celebrations taking place throughout the year. ‘Driving Miss Daisy’ has been a favourite of the cinema showings, along with ‘Mamma Mia’ and ‘Grease’.

Pimms and Strawberries: A Summer Treat at Bourn View Care Home
The traditional Wimbledon accompaniment may have been a bit of a treat, but you can be sure that all our meals, which are cooked on the premises, are of high standard and as delicious as they are nutritious. The chef liaises with the local greengrocer and butcher to ensure that all ingredients are top-quality, fresh and seasonal.
Mealtimes are focal points of the day, a chance for residents to convene and enjoy themselves. We can cater for any special diets and have ways of coaxing poor appetites along. Needless to say, we mark birthdays and anniversaries in time-honoured fashion and will be only too please if friends and families come along and join us.
